Both Blige and Usher have had a significant impact on modern R&B
and have garnered both commercial and critical success.
Six years after her debut album, What's the 411?, Blige has emerged
as one of the most popular R&B singers.
The self-dubbed "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul" has produced
hits such as "Real Love" and, from the Waiting to Exhale
soundtrack, "Not Gon' Cry"
R&B prodigy and MTV staple Usher is currently riding high
on the charts with his sophomore effort My Way and the singles
"Nice & Slow" and "You Make Me Wanna."
