Criminal Mischief: A wooden diverter located at Allen Street and Adams Avenue was reported damaged Wednesday, the State College Police Department said.
Fire: The Centre County 911 Center reported a fire Wednesday at 3035 Research Drive, University Police Services said.

A crucible used to melt aluminum cracked, spilling its contents onto a piece of insulation, which caused it to ignite inside the building, University police said. The caller extinguished the fire before Alpha Fire Co. arrived, University police said.
Theft: University student Lamarr Gaddy reported yesterday the theft of three 9 mm handguns Feb. 28 from his parked car at Damon's Restaurant, 1031 E. College Ave., State College police said.
Theft: A surfboard, the hood and fender of a 1964 Cadillac and six empty kegs were reported stolen Wednesday from a fenced in area behind Cadillac Alley Gentlemens Club, 451 Railroad Ave., State College police said.

The theft happened sometime in late 1997, State College police said.
Theft: Between $500 and $1,500 cash was reported missing yesterday from a register at the Imperial Motor Inn, 118 S. Atherton St., State College police said.
Theft: A sofa was reported missing Wednesday from the Fisher Hall TV lounge, University police said. The sofa was taken between Sunday and Monday, University police said.

The estimated value of the sofa is $600.
