Fiona Apple to appear at Eisenhower Auditorium
A piano, sultry vocals and a hefty dose of Maya Angelou-inspired
lyrics have one thing in common: Fiona Apple, of course.
Apple will be coming to the University, performing at 8 p.m. March
22 at Eisenhower Auditorium. Tickets will go on sale for students
at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and then for the general public at 8:30 a.m.
Wednesday at the Eisenhower Box Office. Tickets cost $21 for students
and $23 for the public. There is a six-ticket limit per person.
The concert, sponsored by University Concert Committee, will showcase
the 19-year-old Apple playing her piano and singing. Likely to
include her hit songs "Shadowboxer" and "Sleep
to Dream," the concert is part of her tour in promotion of
her 1997 debut album Tidal.
