Court justice to speak
To celebrate the affiliation between The Dickinson School of Law
and the University, Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia
will speak at convocation, according to a news release from Dickinson.
Scalia and Gov. Tom Ridge will be among the special guests at
the event celebrating the affiliation between the institutions
at 11 a.m. March 21 in the Allison United Methodist Church in
Carlisle, adjacent to the Dickinson Law School campus. Other
participants will include University Graham Spanier, University
Board of Trustees President Edward Junker, Dickinson School of
Law Dean Peter Glenn and Dickinson School of Law President Robert
Frey. H. Jesse Arnelle, a University trustee and a graduate of
both schools, will give the closing remarks, according to the
release.
