Student charged with resisting arrest

University student Christopher P. Miller of Coplay was arraigned before District Justice Carmine Prestia and committed to Centre County Prison Saturday in lieu of $5,000 bail, according to University Police Services.

An auxiliary University police officer observed Miller in an extremely intoxicated state early Saturday morning at the HUB, University police said, where he fought with police and resisted arrest.
