Teammate Danny Beigel finished last in the field. Freshman Adam Benas, meanwhile, did not qualify for the second day of competition.

Two-time national champion Blaine Wilson won the all-around competition with a 56.80. His closest competitor, Yewki Tomita, was more than four points behind with a score of 52.45.

On the first day of competition, Roeder and Beigel finished seventh and eighth, respectively, on the still rings. Both did well the second day, with Roeder earning a score of 8.70, while Beigel scored a 8.60.

For the second weekend in a row, Roeder had trouble on the high bar. He scored a disappointing 6.95 during the all-around finals.

Beigel did not compete in the floor exercise and vault on the second day due to sore ankles which had been ailing him throughout the week.

Next up for the No. 3 Nittany Lions will be No. 6 Ohio State at 7 p.m. Saturday in Rec Hall.
