Teen-ager charged with campus thefts

A 19-year-old Patton Township resident has been charged by three area police departments on several theft charges, including those for a series of thefts that occurred in the locker rooms of University recreational facilities.

University Police Services filed charges Friday against Christopher M. Shutt of Apt. 11A of Heritage Oaks, 10 Vairo Blvd., with four counts of theft by unlawful taking, four counts of receiving stolen property and one count of criminal conspiracy, according to University police. The State College and Patton Township police departments are also charging Shutt for using stolen credit cards at local businesses, according to University police.

Shutt is residing in Centre County Prison, according to University police.
