- Auto Theft: Scott Ciprich of Pleasant Gap reported Wednesday
the theft of his truck from the parking lot of Corning Asahi Video
Products Co., 3500 E. College Ave., the State College Police Department
said.
The truck, which is described as a black 1988 Ford STX Ranger
with silver stripes on both sides, was taken between 3:20 and
11:50 p.m. Wednesday, State College police said.
The estimated value of the truck is $3,000.
- Fire Alarm: Police answered a fire alarm at 11 p.m. Wednesday
at 203 E. Fairmount Ave., State College police said. That address
is Fairmount East Apartments. The alarm was set off by a sprinkler
that was broken after someone hung a coat on it, State College
police said.
The second floor of the building was flooded as a result of the
broken sprinkler, State College police said.
