Clothing store to open

In the place of Elements, 214 E. College Ave., Access 214 will be opening under new ownership, said Christina Hoover, manager of the new store. The store will open within a week of March 13, Hoover said, and will sell everything from business wear to casual wear for young adults.

Elements, which will close at the end of February, will reopen under a new name and location, store owner Nancy Herman said. Herman said she could not identify the new location because the lease has not been signed yet.

The new store will open in May, Herman said, and until then, most of Elements' employees will work in Mode, 123 S. Allen St.

To clear out the inventory at Elements, the store reduced prices yesterday on top of a 50 percent reduction, Herman said.
