- Drug Law Violation: A staff member reported Tuesday morning finding
marijuana paraphernalia earlier that morning in the hallway of
the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, 215 Innovation Blvd.,
University Police Services said. The item was recovered and taken
as evidence.
- Drug Law Violation/Liquor Law Violation: A resident assistant
reported Tuesday evening smelling the odor of burning marijuana
coming from a room in Packer Hall, University police said. Officers
observed alcohol in the room and found drug residue on some paraphernalia,
University police said. The four occupants of the room were identified
and released, and the investigation is continuing, University
police said.
- Theft: A University employee reported Tuesday morning that someone
removed an analytical balance during the weekend from room 8C
Sackett, University police said. The balance is worth $1,700.
- Theft: A University student reported yesterday that various components
were removed from his bicycle between Monday evening and yesterday
morning while it was parked at the bicycle racks near Hartranft,
University police said. The items are worth $400.
- Theft: A Spring Mills woman reported Tuesday the theft of several
personal items from her locked car parked at Arby's Roast Beef
Restaurant, 400 W. College Ave., the State College Police Department
said. Among the stolen items were a checkbook, driver's license,
cash and food stamps, State College police said. The estimated
value of the items is $400.
