Free lunch available to studentsStudents who attend class with hundreds of people will now have an opportunity to meet their professors on a more personal level -- by taking their professors to lunch.
The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching and the Undergraduate
Student Government Academic Assembly are sponsoring the "Take
Your Professor to Lunch" program until Feb. 27.
All Housing and Food Services eateries that use the point system
will provide a free lunch for any eligible students and their
professors during the time of the special program.
To qualify, students must be enrolled in a class of at least 100
students and must arrange for their course instructor along with
four to nine classmates to eat lunch together.
The organizing student must register the group on the Internet
at least three days prior to the lunch.
Students can register on the World Wide Web at http://www.psu.edu/celt/largeclass/take-a-prof.html.
