Ramada hotel site of fire
The Alpha Fire Co. responded early yesterday morning to a structure
fire at the Ramada Inn, 1450 S. Atherton St., according to a news
release from the fire company.
Smoke was seen venting from the gazebo roof at the southeast end
of the hotel and access was made by cutting though the roof, according
to the release.
The cause of the fire was determined accidental, and a tipped
spotlight on the roof was cited as the source, according to the
release.
There were no injuries and minimal damage, according to the release.
