BELLEFONTE -- A 20-year-old State College resident was ordered
to stand trial yesterday by District Justice Carmine Prestia on
charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia,
according to court documents.
Police responded to a noise violation call Dec. 15 at the apartment
of Robert L. Fix. Upon entering, police saw a glass pipe and ordered
Fix to hand over any marijuana he possessed, according to the
documents. Fix then handed over a scale and five grams of marijuana,
according to the documents.
- A 19-year-old Bellefonte resident was ordered to stand
trial yesterday by District Justice Ronald Horner on charges including
burglary and theft, according to court documents.
Travis Michael Stahlman allegedly was implicated by Joshua Johnsonbaugh
in a series of burglaries, according to the documents.
A search of Stahlman's residence yielded several of the stolen
items, according to the documents.
- A 19-year-old State College resident was ordered to stand
trial yesterday by District Justice Daniel Hoffman on charges
of rape, sexual assault, corruption of minors and selling or furnishing
liquor beverages, according to court documents.
Amos D. Perts in November allegedly furnished alcohol for a woman
and raped her while she was intoxicated, according to the documents.
During that time, the victim's boyfriend was in prison and she
told him about the alleged attack five days afterward when he
was released from prison, according to the documents.
Perts, the victim, her boyfriend and another male formerly lived
in the same Bellefonte residence last year, according to the documents.
