Lions can't take the heat, give in to Illini pressure
Pete Lisicky stared straight ahead. The exasperated Penn State guard replayed his team's 77-71 loss to Illinois on Saturday in his head and struggled to find the reason why.

Illini experience leads to win
After Illinois' 77-71 win against the Penn State men's basketball team Saturday, it looked as if the Lion young guns ran out of ammo.

Icers checked from lofty perch
Ever since Dec.15 when the Icers earned the No. 1 ranking in the ACHA polls, the public address announcer at the ice pavilion has introduced the team as "Your No. 1-ranked Nittany Lion Icers." But after this past weekend, that introduction may need a little change.

Burnt by Berggren

Swimwomen upset Tigers
Comebacks are a popular part of any sport's lore, especially if the underdog comes out on top. While this weekend's win may not go down in sports history, the Penn State women's swim team joined the likes of the 1969 New York Mets and this year's Denver Broncos by pulling off an upset of its own.
