A financial aid hot line and Internet chat forum are now accessible for those who have questions about filling out forms or how to get and keep financial aid.
Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, PASFAA, announced that the hot line and chat forum will be active between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. until Thursday, according to a news release from PASFAA.
PASFAA administrators will voluntarily staff the hot line and Internet chat forum.
The administrators will address a variety of questions about financial aid programs and services, including grants, loans and workstudy jobs, according to the news release.
The hot line, (800) 692-7392 for central Pennsylvania, and the forum, which can be accessed through PHEAA's World Wide Web site at www.pheaa.org, are held in conjunction with Financial Aid Awareness Month in Pennsylvania, Walker said.
The events are being sponsored by Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, PASFAA, PNC Bank, Corestates Bank, Educaid, First Union, BankBoston and National City.
