- Criminal Mischief: University student Zachary Domire reported
Saturday afternoon that someone slashed all four tires on his
car, which was parked on the 200 block of South Burrowes Street
on Friday night, the State College Police Department said.
- Fugitive From Justice: Brian Zook, 29, was arrested on
a fugitive from justice charge Friday after he was picked up by
State College police in a case of mistaken identity, State College
police said. An officer picked up Zook because he matched the description of
a suspect wanted for another crime, State College police said.
Police then discovered that Zook was wanted for drug violations
in Delaware, State College police said. Zook is being held until authorities from Delaware can pick him
up, State College police said.
- Theft: A television, hunting clothes, an eight-track stereo
and an electric grill were stolen between last Monday and Thursday
from a hunting cabin on Laurel Run Road, State College police
said. The estimated value of the items is $900.
- Theft: A color TV set was stolen from the TV lounge in
Haller Hall yesterday morning, University Police Services said.
The estimated value of the TV set is $300.
- Theft: A visitor reported that ice hockey equipment was
stolen from the ice pavilion's upper locker room Saturday, University
police said.
