Bellefonte man charged for computer burglaries

Chad Spotts, 26 of Bellefonte was charged and arraigned yesterday before District Justice Carmine Prestia for a burglary that took place on the 700 black of Southgate Drive earlier in the day, according to a news release from the State College Police Department.

Spotts alledgedly stole more than $6,000 worth of property, including a computer and computer accessories, State College police said.

He also left a 22-caliber gun at the scene of the crime, State College police said.

Spotts was released yesterday on bail, according to the release.
