Fairs aim to attract students
Local organizations and University students will try to get other
students more involved during the next two days.
The Student Volunteer Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
today in the HUB Ballroom, said Cindye Rudy, staff assistant at
the AT&T Center for Service Leadership.
Rudy predicted several hundred students will attend today's fair,
which is sponsored by the Center for Service Leadership. About
50 community service organizations will be represented.
There will be more than 160 different organizations at the Student
Involvement Fair, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow
in the HUB Ballroom and Fishbowl, said Bob Brouse, coordinator
of the Involvement Fair. He predicts 3,000 students will attend
the Involvement Fair, which will be sponsored by Unions and Student
Activities and the University Park Allocation Committee.
