Earvin "Magic" Johnson has rescheduled his appearance
in Penn State's Distinguished Speakers Series.
Johnson, who canceled his initial appearance due to a family illness,
will speak at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at Eisenhower Auditorium,
according to a news release.
The 11-time all-star and three-time NBA Most Valuable Player will
speak on overcoming adversity, said Karen Wagner, public information
officer of University Relations.
Students, faculty and staff may receive free tickets beginning
Feb. 2 at the Eisenhower box office, Wagner said.
If any tickets remain, Wagner said they will be distributed to
the public on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Feb. 3.
