A supposedly routine motion regarding the new Schlow Memorial
Library turned into a long discussion last night as about 60 people
packed into the Ferguson Township Municipal Building for a Centre
Region Council of Governments meeting.

A car accident at 12:40 p.m. yesterday in Boggs Township resulted
in the death of one person.

1997 NBA Draft The 1997 NBA Draft will be held at the Charlotte Coliseum, the home of the Charlotte Hornets. The NBA figures the hoops-crazy
fans in the area will come down to the arena to watch the future
of the league, especially that of their beloved Hornets. The only
problem is the Hornets don't have a pick in the whole draft.
