Plans for brewery dry up Lack of investor interest has thrown a wet bar rag over a local investor's plan to open a regional craft brewery near Bellefonte's Tallyrand Park. Struggling lady laxers get win over Blue Hens It took longer than anticipated, but the Penn State women's lacrosse team started to show signs of life this weekend. Trackmen dominate at Jim Thorpe invite The Penn State men's outdoor track and field team celebrated Easter early by dominating the competition at the Jim Thorpe Invitational on Saturday at Nittany Lion Track. McCoy wins college wrestling's Heisman Kerry McCoy added to his already impressive list of wrestling honors on Friday by winning the Dan Hodge Award, the equivalent to football's Heisman Trophy. Spikers still on a roll after wins at Flyer Fest The Penn State men's volleyball team had to fight through two main adversaries again this weekend, but neither were on the court. Momentum carries netmen over two Big Ten opponents In the sports world, momentum is key for a team to have and to hold. For the Penn State men's tennis team, it was very much needed. Lady Ruggers stung by top Maryland squad It would be easy to see the 47-7 final score and think the Penn State women's rugby team had an unproductive Saturday afternoon. And it would be easy to see the final and think the Lady Ruggers are in trouble, with the national championships just five weeks away.
