  • Accidental Damages: A University employee reported Friday that the Nittany Parking Deck traffic control gate descended on a privately owned vehicle attempting to exit the parking structure, University Police Services said. The vehicle suffered light damage, police said.

    The amount of the damage is unknown.

  • Criminal Mischief: A University student reported Sunday afternoon that someone damaged the door glass of the west entrance to Stuart Hall between midnight and 12:30 a.m., University police said.

    The amount of the damage is unknown.

  • Criminal Mischief/Vehicles: Steven Murray of 22 Hamilton Hall reported Saturday someone took his car from a parking lot at his residence and damaged its fender before returning it Friday night, the State College Police Department said.

    The fender sustained minor damage.


  • Disorderly Conduct: A University police officer apprehended several non-students who were jumping on cars Saturday in Parking Lot Orange E at Shields Building. It was later discovered the cars in question were their own.

    No further action was taken, University police said.

  • Harassment by Communication: An off-campus student reported Saturday receiving threatening E-mail from an identified student, University police said.

  • Rules and Regulation: A residence life coordinator reported Saturday that a student on the first floor of Holmes Hall had an unauthorized weapon in his room.

    University police confiscated the weapon and placed it in storage.

  • Theft: Gretchen Holtzer of 220 Thompson reported Saturday her student ID, jacket, backpack, pants and a shirt were stolen while she was attending a party at Theta Delta Chi fraternity, 305 E. Prospect Ave., State College police said.

    The value of the items is $170.


  • Theft: Anthony Yearick, 52 Hilltop Park, reported Saturday his nickel-plated, 9 mm handgun was stolen from a desk drawer in his home during a party Friday night, State College police said.

    The value of the handgun is unknown.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
