Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday, and will cost $21.50.
No Doubt first performed at the center last April, opening for
Bush.
"They were wild," said Bernie Punt, marketing executive
for the center. "They got the crowd frenzied."
Although the concert will occur during finals week, Punt said,
he still expects a good turnout, drawing fans from outside the
University.
"That was definitely the big factor," he said. "Because
of (No Doubt's) popularity, there's going to be more than just
college students."
About a week before the No Doubt concert, the center will also
host contemporary Christian pop singer Steven Curtis Chapman,
performing with openers Audio Adrenaline and Carolyn Arends, at
7:30 p.m. April 28. Tickets go on sale at noon Saturday, and cost
$20 and $24.50.
Tickets for both shows can be purchased at the center's box office,
Eisenhower Auditorium South Box Office, select
Uni-Mart ticket outlets, Commonwealth Campus ticket outlets or
via phone by calling 865-5555 or 1-800-863-3336.
