Lisicky selected for All-Big Ten Teams
Penn State's Pete Lisicky has been named to both the media's and
the coaches All-Big Ten Teams.
Lisicky, a junior guard, was selected as a second team member
of the media's team and as a third team member of the coaches
team.
Lisicky finished fourth in the Big Ten in scoring this season
as he racked up a 16.3 points per game average. He shot 89% from
the free throw line, and tied or broke five Penn State career
and single-season records this season, including career three-pointers,
career three-pointers attempted, season three-pointers attempted,
season three pointers made, and consecutive field goals made.
Lisicky ranks 11th on the Penn State all-time scoring leaders
list with 1,107.
"It is very gratifying as well as rewarding for Pete and
the entire basketball family to see him receive these honors,"
said Penn State coach Jerry Dunn. "This exemplifies what
he's meant to our team as well as how others view his stature
within the Big Ten."
