- Attempted Burglary: A University employee reported Thursday
someone damaged the lock mechanism to a room on the second floor
of Hamilton Hall between March 8 and Thursday, University Police
Services said.
The estimated value of the damage is $40.
- Burglary/Theft/DUI: Brian Shepard, 24, of Bellefonte was
arrested yesterday and charged with burglary, theft, driving under
the influence and other related charges, the State College Police
Department said.
Police found a car registered to Shepard 12:30 a.m. yesterday
at TCI Media Services, 1050 Benner Pike, when they responded to
a report that the front window of TCI Media Services had been
smashed.
When the Bellefonte Police Department was contacted, Bellefonte
police were already at Shepard's residence responding to a disorderly
conduct complaint.
Police said that TCI Media Services had been vandalized and a
$12,000 computer stolen, but was later recovered.
Shepard is being held at Centre County Prison.
- Burglary: University student Elizabeth Shank, 22, of 338
W. College Ave., reported Saturday someone broke into her apartment
between March 8 and Saturday, the State College Police Department
said.
Shank reported 80 compact discs, a plastic trash can and a cardboard
box were stolen, police said.
The estimated value of the items is $1,000.
- Theft: A visitor to campus reported on Saturday his unattended
video camcorder was stolen from the McCoy Natatorium that day.
The estimated value of the camcorder is $1,000.
- Theft: A visitor to campus reported Saturday his unattended
portable compact disc player was stolen from McCoy Natatorium
Friday.
The estimated value of the player is $200.

Building.
University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage
