Harvard dismantles hapless netmen, 6-1

The men's tennis team was dominated Sunday at Harvard, 6-1.

The only bright spots for the Nittany Lions (2-4, 0-2 Big Ten) were the play of sophomore Mike Griesser and a doubles victory by Eric Meditz and Marc Dorfman.

Griesser defeated Kunj Majmudar, 6-2, 6-2.

The Lions' top player, Michael Carter, lost to Tom Blake, 6-4, 6-3. Carter is now 4-2 on the season.

The Crimson made short work of the Lions, with only one match lasting three sets, as Colin Smeeton fell to Philip Tseng, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.

The Lions will be in action March 8, when they take on George Washington at home. Their next Big Ten match will be against Minnesota on March 29 at home.
