  • Fire: University Police Services received a call Saturday that a fire alarm went off in Stuart Hall Saturday. The investigation revealed some trash was burning on the floor of the janitor's room, University police said.

    There was no damage.

  • Harassment: A University student reported Saturday that someone placed a harassing message on his door on the fourth floor of Holmes Hall, University police said.

    The incident occurred Saturday between 2:30 and 9:30 a.m.

  • Theft: An employee of The Bon-Ton Department Store at Nittany Mall reported Sunday that an adult and a juvenile were caught shoplifting several items, the State College Police Department said. Both were issued citations and released.

    The value of the items is $116.

  • Vandalism: A maintenance man at University Terrace Apartments, 825 Bellaire Ave., reported yesterday that an unidentified person broke into a maintenance room after 5 p.m. Friday, State College police said. The door to the room sustained damage and the deadbolt was broken. A fire extinguisher was discharged and profanities were written in caulking on a table. Fluorescent tubes were broken and a box of records was spilled, State College police said.

    The estimated value of the damage is unknown and police have no suspects.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
