Cagers look for a non-Northwestern win The Nittany Lion basketball team will try to accomplish a new feat tomorrow -- beating a Big Ten team other than Northwestern. Laxers hope to make Irish's Cade angry When it comes to lacrosse it doesn't take much to get Notre Dame goalie Alex Cade mad. Just score on him. Icers' Adams gets shot at ACHA tourney There is one Icer who may be anticipating the ACHA national championships more than any of his teammates. That player is Jeff Adams, a junior forward who hasn't been able to make much of a contribution at nationals during his two other seasons with the team. Tennis teams hit road for weekend matches After a tough weekend on the road in the Big Ten, the Penn State men's tennis team travels to Cambridge, Mass., to meet the Crimson of Harvard. Lady Lions to host PA championship It's not often a gymnastics meet has seven teams competing at the same time. Sure, the Big Ten, regional and NCAA championships have that amount or even more but rarely does it occur during the regular season. Gymmen in need of win The freshmen demonstrated they can perform like veterans. The seniors showed they are capable of leading the squad. The team proved it can compete with the best in the country. Lady Sluggers open at East Carolina The uniforms will be unfolded for the first time. The spikes will get their first chance to be broken in on a grass field. They will look into a blue sky with sunshine instead of fluorescent lights and an I-beam ceiling. Sluggers hit road against Spiders The Nittany Lion baseball team will look to continue its winning ways this weekend as it squares off against Colonial Athletic co-champion Richmond in a three-game series. Boxers play host to second Nittany Lion Invitational The members of the Penn State boxing team were busy constructing a boxing ring in White Building last Sunday morning, and they will finally get to test their craftsmanship at 7 p.m. tomorrow when they host the second Nittany Lion Invitational of the season. Trackmen travel to Princeton for NCAA qualifiers The Penn State men's indoor track team will be out to earn NCAA qualifying times and distances when it travels to Princeton tomorrow to compete in the IC4A championships.
