  • Criminal Trespass: The State College Police Department reported that Rudy Kleinman, 18, of Broomall broke into a building at 905 S. Atherton St., Saturday night.

    Police allege that Kleinman broke into the building in a drunken state. He was found there Sunday morning asleep on a couch, police said.

    Kleinman was charged with criminal trespass and public drunkenness and released on his own recognizance, police said.


  • Drug Law Violation: A resident assistant reported Friday the odor of marijuana coming from a room in Stone Hall, University police said. Two people in the room were identified, University police said.

    Police are still investigating.


  • Drug Law Violation: A resident assistant reported Sunday that he had a person in custody in Pinchot Hall for having marijuana in his possession, University police said.

    Alcoholic beverages were also found in the room; charges will be filed at a later date, University police said.


  • Simple Assault: A University student reported Saturday night that he and a friend had been punched and thumbed in the eye that evening while waiting for an elevator on the seventh floor of Cedarbrook Apartments, 309 E. Beaver Ave., the State College Police Department said. Woodring went to Centre Community Hospital for medical treatment, police said.

    There are no suspects.


  • Simple Assault: An unknown person at Cedarbrook Apartments, 309 E. Beaver Ave., urinated off a seventh floor balcony onto people below Saturday night, police said. Some of those people went to the seventh floor to confront the person or people responsible and attacked the first two people they saw, police said.

    There are no suspects.


  • Theft: A University student reported Friday the theft of a stereo unit from an unattended vehicle in Lot 43, University police said. The incident occurred between January 27 and Friday.

    The estimated loss is $475.


  • Theft: A University employee reported Friday the theft of a blank pediatrician's prescription pad from the Sports Medicine Center at the Medical Arts Building, University police said.

    The time of the incident is unknown.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
