  • Theft: A University employee reported Tuesday morning that six students were victims of a textbook theft on the third floor of Engineering Unit E, University Police Services said. The incident occurred between Jan. 14 and Feb. 8.

    The estimated value of the textbooks is $285.


  • Theft: Adam Ray of 412 W. College Ave. reported his National Ski Patrol jacket was stolen from Tussey Mountain Ski Area between Feb. 3 and Feb. 8, the State College Police Department said.

    The estimated value of the jacket is more than $200.


  • Sex Offense: A woman reported yesterday that a man approached her eight-year-old daughter at Value City in the Nittany Mall Tuesday and asked her to zip up his fly because his hands were filled with items, State College police said. The girl ran from him and told her mother about the incident, saying she only saw the man's white underwear, police said. Police are investigating the incident and said the suspect is a white male in his forties with brown and gray hair.
