- Accidental Damage: A University employee reported Thursday that
an unidentified driver accidentally broke the gate at the exit
of the Nittany Parking Deck earlier that day, University Police
Services said.
The estimated value of damage is $100.
- Criminal Mischief: A student reported Friday that someone damaged
the driver's side mirror of his vehicle while it was parked in
Lot Orange F, near Greenberg Indoor Sports Complex, earlier that
day, University police said.
The value of the damage is unknown.
- Drug Law Violation: A South Halls resident assistant reported
Saturday the smell of marijuana coming from a second-floor room
in Hoyt Hall, University police said. Drug paraphernalia was confiscated
from a visitor to the room, and the resident of the room was issued
a citation for the underage possession of alcohol, University
police said.
- Drug Law Violation: A North Halls resident assistant reported
Saturday the smell of marijuana coming from a room on the second
floor of Runkle Hall, University police said.
Drug paraphernalia was confiscated.
- Simple Assault: A University student reported Saturday morning
that he was punched, attacked and had his head bashed against
a pickup truck by an unknown assailant while walking behind 220
E. Foster Ave. shortly after midnight, State College police said.
The student sustained cuts to his face.
- Simple Assault: A University student reported Saturday that
several males drove over his left foot that day, breaking it,
shortly after an argument in a parking lot at 421 E. Beaver Ave.,
State College police said.
The student was treated and released from Centre Community Hospital.
Police have no suspects.
- Theft: A State College woman reported Saturday that several
compact discs were stolen from her car that day while it was parked
at State College Area High School, 650 Westerly Parkway, State
College Police said.
The compact discs are worth $408.
- Theft: A University employee reported Friday the theft of two
microscopes from the greenhouses adjacent to the Agricultural
Science and Industries Building, between last Wednesday and Friday,
University police said.
The loss is valued at $200.
- Theft: Kate Diedrickson of 305 Runkle reported Sunday that her
coat was stolen while left unattended between 1 and 2 a.m. at
424 E. Fairmont Ave., State College police said.
The coat is worth $130 and had $12 in cash in the pocket.
- Theft: A Tyrone man reported Saturday that his 9 mm pistol
was stolen from his car while it was parked at 1101 E. College
Ave. Friday night, State College police said. The estimated value
of the pistol is $130.
- Theft: Lindsay Stevens of 255 E. Beaver Ave. reported Saturday
that her jacket was stolen from a coat room at 328 E. Foster Ave.
earlier that night, State College police said. The coat is worth
$100.
- Theft: Richard A. Caprio of Centre Hall reported Sunday morning
that his car was stolen while he was delivering pizzas for Papa
John's.
It was found 2½ blocks away, State College police said.
