- Health and Safety: A University employee became dizzy while
working in the Agricultural Arena wash bay because of a faulty
propane heater Tuesday afternoon, University Police Services said.
The person was taken to Centre Community Hospital by ambulance,
police said.
Environmental health and safety personnel were called to check
the building for fumes.
- Parking Violation/Warrant Service: A University police
officer transported Saif Ullah, of Arlington, Va., to District
Justice Carmine Prestia's office Tuesday afternoon, University
police said.
Outstanding parking fines of $134 were satisfied.
- Theft: A University employee reported Tuesday afternoon
that someone removed two memory chips from a computer in 274 Rec
Hall, University police said.
The theft occurred between December 19 and January 16.
The value of the chips is $200.
- Theft: Norman Fedon reported Tuesday that someone removed
a belt cutter, 12 iron pins measuring 36 inches, and six steel
channels measuring six-inches by nine feet from a construction
site at 2300 S. Atherton St. between Monday and Tuesday, State
College Police Department said. The value of the items is $400.
- Theft: Cheryl Strouse reported yesterday that two 1,000
foot rolls of wire cable were removed from a construction site
at 2300 S. Atherton St. between Friday and Monday, State College
police said.
The value of the cable is $300.
