University sponsors creative writing awards
University students with at least a third semester standing, regardless of campus, will have the opportunity to win $750 for their writing abilities.
The Katey Lehman Creative Writing Awards present the money annually
to winners in the categories of poetry, fiction and journalism.
The deadline for students who wish to enter is Feb. 3.
Entry forms are available from the English Department in 116 Burrowes.
The award is in memory of Katey Lehman, a 1942 graduate of the
University and an honor student in English and journalism. All
majors with at least sophomore standing may enter.
