- Criminal Mischief: An unknown person reported Saturday
that someone damaged a window located in the lobby of Hartranft
Hall that day, University Police Services said.
The value of the damage is unknown.
- Criminal Mischief/Health and Safety: A female employee
reported Sunday that someone tampered with the lug nuts on the
front wheel of her vehicle while it was parked in Parking Lot
Yellow C sometime between 5 and 10 p.m., University police said.
- Drug Law Violation: A resident assistant reported Sunday
that there was an odor of marijuana coming from a third floor
room in Sproul Hall, University police said. The occupants of
the room were identified as a University student and a non-University
student, police said.
- Health and Safety: University police officers assisted
University ambulance personnel at Stephens Hall Sunday in transporting
a student suffering from an alcohol overdose to Centre Community
Hospital, University police said.
- Robbery: A 26-year-old female reported Sunday that an
unidentified white male approached her on the ground level of
the parking garage at 737 E. Beaver Ave. early Sunday morning,
the State College Police Department said.
The woman was walking toward the elevator in the parking garage
when a man approached her and said "Hey, beautiful."
The woman ignored the man, who proceeded to block her path and
demand money. She first denied she had any, police said, but the
man persisted. The woman then took some bills from her pocket,
threw them on the ground and ran for the elevator, police said.
The man ran away.
The woman reported the man was wearing a dark-colored coat and
jeans, police said. Police are investigating the incident and
are looking for a man in his early twenties, about six-feet tall
with a medium build and a clean-shaven, oval face.
- Theft: A University employee reported Saturday that his
jacket was stolen while left unattended in the lobby of Shunk
Hall, University police said.
The value of the jacket is unknown.
- Theft: Jed M. Stott of State College reported yesterday that
a compact disc case with more than 100 CDs was stolen from a locked
room at Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, 328 E. Fairmount Ave., between
Friday and Saturday, State College police said.
The estimated value of the case and CDs is between $1200 and $1500.
- Theft: An employee of Stickler Construction Service, 2391 W.
Whitehall Rd., reported yesterday that someone entered a construction
site on the 300 block of Pugh Street and stole a two-way radio
and a headset adapter sometime between Thursday and yesterday,
State College police said.
The estimated value of the radio and headset is $400. Police are
continuing an investigation.
- Theft: Devona Delach of University Park reported yesterday
that her coat, gloves and hat were stolen during a party at Alpha
Sigma Phi fraternity, 328 E. Fairmount Ave., over the weekend,
State College police said.
The value of the jacket, gloves and hat is $238.
