Student dies after being hit by car A University student died of injuries he received after being struck by a car early yesterday morning, according to a news release from the State College Police Department. Art store owner allegedly evades taxes The owner of a local art supply store and gallery has been charged with failure to remit more than $26,000 in sales tax and writing nearly $20,000 in bad checks to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, the Office of Attorney General announced last week. II Icers complete another perfect year After a slow start the Division II Icers picked up the intensity and rolled to a lopsided 8-2 victory over Slippery Rock on Friday night at the ice pavilion. The win gives the Div. II Icers an undefeated regular season for the second year in a row. The team now heads into the playoffs with a 13-0-1 record. Unheralded sophomore floors Ohio State hopes When Carey Hoyt took her position for the floor exercise at last Saturday's meet with Ohio State, the Lady Lion couldn't have known how much pressure was on her. Her teammate Ellen Casey had just recorded a 9.025, while the Buckeyes hit a 9.55 to start off on the balance beam. Buckeye star shines with Olympic ability With the depth of the Ohio State men's gymnastics team, it was no surprise that it did not miss a beat without its leading all-around performer Drew Durbin.
