Minutes later, the Lion team walked across the deck to their side of the pool, clapping their hands in unison. They, too, met in a circle, to root the team on, but their shouts didn't quite compare to those of the Badgers

Track & field team place second in Ohio
The men's indoor track and field team placed second overall in their first scoring meet of the season, finishing behind winning host Kent State.

Hey Big Ten, Hoosier leader?
About 36 minutes had passed from the game clock in a concerned Bobby Knight's first visit to the Bryce Jordan Center -- the arena he once said would take a construction crew from Mars to complete on schedule.

Crowd gets most from WWF event
The authenticity of wrestling is questionable when oafish men enter the ring to perform staged battles. It's like a bad metaphor for life, the classic good guy vs. bad guy struggle, the strong blue-collar working-man triumphs, and of course, the timeless existential No Exit-type dilemma -- the steel cage.
