Some could talk about the time they had to walk from East Halls to class in Walker Building in a blizzard, or how they lost their student ID four times in one semester. But some graduates of the Class of 1996 have a more phenomenal story. It also stranded many travelers and placed students returning to Penn State in a slippery situation. Jurevicius shows potential in bowl TAMPA, Fla. -- Glance at the depth chart and his ominous predicament is blatantly clear. Engram leads Lions to Outback win TAMPA, Fla. -- He stood upon a podium beneath the flooded stands, elevated above the throngs of media awaiting his words. It was a familiar position for Penn State's Bobby Engram -- he's been towering above opponents for the better part of two seasons. Lion student-athletes active over semester break Over the winter break, student-athletes weren't just recuperating from the fall semester. Some were quite busy. Lady cagers bid Rec Hall farewell The ladders went up and the nets came down Friday night in No. 6 Penn State's (13-2, 3-0 Big Ten) farewell-to-Rec Hall game against Minnesota (4-8, 0-2). Icers win despite Towson's antics Despite leaving five players behind because of what coach Joe Battista called "disciplinary reasons," the Icers (14-1) won the first of their two games over the weekend, defeating Towson State, 8-3.
