Crichton's latest film doesn't measure up to his last effort
Michael Crichton, Frank Marshall -- the names alone are enough to lend the promise of a high-tech, big-impact ride, but if you're looking for thrills along the lines of a Jurassic Park, Congo may fall short. But just because it isn't another Jurassic Park, the film doesn't fail to entertain, and breaks new ground with a solid, strong female character who truly has the lead role.
