Book sale supports scholarship funds
As sunlight glistened through the tall glass windows of the HUB Ballroom early last Saturday afternoon, it unveiled a multitude of tables piled high with more than 100,000 used books. Those books, ranging from a secret guide to computers to an illustrated encyclopedia of art, will be sold through tomorrow at the 34th Annual American Association of University Women's ule, which funds scholarships for national as well as local women who are continuing their studies, began Saturday and is scheduled to last until 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Fifth-place finish upsets linksters
Members of the Penn State men's golf team came back from the Navy Spring Invitational Sunday evening in a very bad mood. Not only didn't they win the tournament for the third year in a row, but they lost some ground in the district II race.

Lady Lion greats return to Rec Hall
Susan Robinson posted up along the Rec Hall baseline Sunday, Kahadeejah Herbert on her hip, and waited for a pass from Suzie McConnell-Serio. It was the leading scorer in the history of the Penn State women's basketball program posting up the program's all-time leading rebounder, while looking for a pass from the program's all-time leader in assists.

Weekend love
After a long weekend of fierce Big Ten competition, the women's tennis team returned to Happy Valley Sunday night weary and disappointed.

For the Nittany Lions to realistically win another volleyball national championship, they know it will take more than just their athletic talent. A serious contender always possesses the inner fire that pushes a team continuously onward.
