A woman was assaulted Saturday in the Music Building by a man who had allegedly been stalking her, University Police Services said.

The same man, who is unknown to the victim, is also suspected of attempting to assault the victim on March 30, at 100 S. Garner St., police said.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 23 years old, between 6 foot and 6 foot 2 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He has a muscular build, dark crew cut and dark eyes.

The suspect was wearing a blue and white horizontal striped shirt and blue jeans during the attack Saturday, police said.
