Police Log

  • Four injured during collision: Four people were taken to the hospital Monday after they were involved in a two-car accident at the intersection of East College Avenue and Shiloh Road.

    Adam B. Clark of Osceola Mills was traveling west on East College Avenue when Jennifer M. Gummo of Julian collided with him. Gummo was stopped at a stop sign facing south on Shiloh Road and tried to turn onto East College Avenue when the accident occurred, the State College Police Department said.

    Gummo and her passenger, Tara Davidson of Bellefonte, were taken to Centre Community Hospital for minor injuries, police said.

    Police added that Adam B. Clark and Roy Clark of Houtzdale were also taken to the hospital for minor cuts, police said.

    Gummo, Davidson and Adam B. Clark were all treated and released, but Roy Clark was admitted for X-rays, a hospital spokeswoman said.

    Clark is in satisfactory condition, she said.

  • Theft: Travis Fischer of Julian reported yesterday that several items were stolen from his car Monday.

    Fischer said he thinks the compact disc player, cellular phone and about 20 compact discs were stolen while his car was parked at the rear lot of Nittany Mall, the State College Police Department said.

    Police said they have no suspects.

    The items are worth $830.

  • Theft: An athletic department employee reported Tuesday that someone removed a wireless headset and matching transmitter from a gymnasium at Rec Hall between Friday and Sunday, University Police Services said.

    The items are worth $430.

  • Theft: Sally Lenker of 158 W. South Hills Ave., reported two tires were taken from a shed outside her residence within the last two months, State College police said.

    The tires are worth $416.

  • Theft: A Pinchot Hall resident reported Tuesday that someone removed the rear-wheel assembly of his bicycle while it was secured to a bicycle rack west of Fisher Hall between Monday and Tuesday, University police said.

    The parts are worth $100.
