Police Log

  • Theft: A University student reported Monday that a calculator was stolen from the Reber Building computer lab last Thursday, University Police Services said.

    The calculator is worth $250.

  • Traffic Accident: A University student was struck by an automobile while riding his bicycle on Curtin Road near Pattee Monday, University police said.

    The student was taken to Centre Community Hospital by University Ambulance Service, police said.


In case of an emergency, on or off campus, dial 911. For business and nonemergency calls, call the State College Police Department at 234-7150 and Penn State Police Services at 863-1111.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
