SAT eliminated as entrance requirement for adult learners
Citing such factors as competition from other universities and the SAT's inability to predict future performance, the Faculty Senate voted Tuesday to waive the SAT requirement for adult learners.

Sometimes it takes a change of scenery to put things back into perspective. Two weeks ago, the men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Ohio State. Last week, they trained in the warm climate of Waco, Texas, defeated Baylor 6-1 and returned a more confident team.

Hot for Boilermakers
After a botched spring break road trip to Louisiana due to intense storms, the women's tennis team is prepared to take on Purdue at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday at the Penn State Tennis Club.

Lions face loathsome Tigers
Since 1983, the Penn State men's lacrosse team is 3-11 against Towson State. They have beaten the Tigers only once since 1986. To say the least, the Tigers have been an anathema for the Lions.

Low hopes
The Lady Lion gymnastics team does not plan to win. In fact, senior tri-captain Tracy Kerner said it is not even focused on its next meet.
