The Harrisburg man, who escaped from the State Correctional Institution at Rockview Tuesday, was apprehended yesterday morning.
U.S. Marshals Office personnel in Harrisburg apprehended Derrick Williams near Harrisburg, a news release said.
Williams escaped from prison while he was on a prison work detail. A prison work detail allows inmates to perform supervised work on prison-owned property outside of the prison.
Williams was serving a 27-month to five-year sentence for possession with intent to deliver drugs from Dauphin County when he escaped.
