Man assaulted on College Avenue: Aggravated Assault: A Centre Community Hospital employee reported that one or more men assaulted Gregory Rogers of 478 E. Beaver Ave. on the 100 block of East College Avenue early Friday morning, the State College Police Department said.

Police said Rogers was leaving Player's Sports Bar, 112 W. College Ave., when a man bumped into him. Rogers told police that he kept walking.

After a verbal exchange, three other men and the first man flanked Rogers and then punched him four times, police said. He received bruises to both eyes, a bruise on his head and a possible broken nose, police said.

Police said they are investigating the incident.
