Induction ceremony held for incoming PHC officers
Last night in the Pollock Commons Gold Room, the Panhellenic Council inducted its 1995-96 executive board. Outgoing officers were honored and congratulated as incoming executive members, elected Jan. 30 or appointed by PHC, were given control of the council.

Student skating club gears up for competitions
As spring approaches, figure skaters usually hang up their skates. But this is far from true for members of the Penn State Student Skating Club. Instead, they will be sharpening and polishing their skates in preparation for their upcoming schedule.

200-person crowd cheers on laxers
It wouldn't fill section SC at Beaver Stadium, nor would it barely fill section N5 at Rec Hall. But the crowd of about 200 people was just as much of a factor in a big season-opening 15-14 victory for the Nittany Lion lacrosse team over Notre Dame on Sunday in Holuba Hall.

Ski teams place at regional event
In the regional competition for a trip to the United States College Ski Association National Tournament, the Penn State's women's ski team placed third overall in Mercersburg, winning a berth in the tournament last weekend. With a fourth-place finish on Saturday and a first-place finish on Sunday, the women will be heading to Brendidge Mountain in Idaho.
