Police Log

  • Woman allegedly raped at fraternity: A female University student reported that she was allegedly rapped at a party at Phi Mu Delta fraternity, 500 S. Allen St., early Sunday morning, the State Colege Police Department said.

    After drinking alcohol at the party, she awoke undressed in room, police said. Police said evidence in the room led her to believe she may have been sexuall assaulted.

    A man who knows the victim has been identified as being the last person with her, police said.

    The investigation is continuing and no further details are available at this time, police said.

  • Assault: The Centre Community Hospital reported Michael Reed of 236 S. Frasier St. was allegedly knocked down and assaulted by four men while walking down the 200 block of Locust Lane early Sunday morning, State College police said.

    Reed suffered bruises and a cut near his left eye, police said.

    He was treated and released from the hospital, police said.

  • Theft: Joanne Sherrow of 220 1/2 S. Frasier St. reported a bicycle was stolen from her residence last Thursday, State College police said.

    The bicycle is worth $150.
