Damaged Property: David Janorich of Coal Township reported Wednesday that the soft top of his convertible, located at the McAllister Street Parking Deck, was cut and a piece of it was removed Wednesday, the State College Police Department said.

The damage is estimated between $600 and $800.

Theft: Christopher Jordan of 524 Locust Lane reported Wednesday that various components of his stereo system -- including an amplifier, receiver and speakers -- were stolen Wednesday, State College police said.

The components are worth $1,470.
