Collision injures two Centre Hall residents: Two Centre Hall residents were taken to the hospital after their vehicle collided with a Petersburg man's car.
R.C. Liveringhouse Jr., of Petersburg, was driving in his truck on West College Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Carl Volz Jr., of Centre Hall, the State College Police Department said.
Volz was heading north on South Burrowes Street when the incident occurred, police said. Volz's wife, Helen B. Volz, was also in the car.
Police said Liveringhouse said the light was changing as he traveled through the intersection, but Carl Volz said the light was green.
A witness driving behind Liveringhouse at the time said Liveringhouse ran the red light, police said.
Both Helen and Carl Volz were taken to Centre Community Hospital where they are under observation, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Liveringhouse did not suffer any injuries.
