Three students accepted nominations last night for 1995-96 Undergraduate Student Government Academic Assembly president.
Joanna Adams (junior-mineral economics), Emily Bahn (sophomore-marketing) and Justin Sobota (freshman-division of undergraduate studies) will vie for the position in an election during the next Academic Assembly meeting, scheduled for Monday.
There were no nominations for the positions of vice president or course selector director. Any presidential candidates who don't win the election can run for those vacant positions.
In other Academic Assembly news, President Jenna Dalious presented potential questions to be used for surveying students about midsemester class evaluations. Academic Assembly, in cooperation with the Instructional Development Program, plans to gauge students' opinions about the effectiveness and frequency of midsemester evaluations.
